Taylor Jo Haugen, who plans to pursue a career in medicine, is the first recipient of the $250 award from the organization. The scholarship check was presented to Haugen at the August Meeting.

Throughout the year, the 400 members of Triple Lodge #835 hold various fund raising events to benefit their “Coins For Kids” program, including the new Granite City High School Scholarship. Other efforts are a clothing shopping and Christmas Basket program helping over 25 area families in need, back-to-school supplies, and funding for the Granite City Public Library District Reading Program.
